He rarely does the "cat chatter" thing and I love it when he does! Yelling at the cat television. We have great CatTV shows here. Kids, Dogs, Cats, Possums, Squirrels, Birds, Wasps, Leaves, all very popular viewing.

I just love my cat Journey's boxer nose. He already has a bossy, swaggering personality (he truly does walk like John Wayne), so his huge physique and scars and bumps are very extra.

I guess Thursday was kind of a sad feels day for me. No real reason. But it's after midnight, so yesterday is over. Meanwhile here is "Achlys," an ancient Greek goddess of sorrow. I had some color in this but realized the lines were what I liked. Was obv thinking Modigliani. #Drawing

I'm trying to get myself back on my daily walks up and down the #monon trail. That's where all the sources for me tree paintings came from, last summer's walks. It's easy to get stuck in a work rut and not get out. This image is to inspire me a bit more.

From photo my silly granddaughter took of me walking behind her parents' tattoo shop. I had my most saggity baggity jeans on and they were a lot of fun to draw.
The easiest kind of "real art media" style -- if you're into that -- in Procreate is this pen & ink wash style.

Portraits of humans are incredibly difficult. A difference of a millimeter in an eyebrow, or corner of a mouth, etc., can completely botch an expression, or an entire likeness. Here's my dear late mother on vacation in the 80's. The source photo she looks a bit pensive & sad, so that comes across.
