@chris Nothing convinces me more than this that Canada should buy Gripens (aside from the minimal F35s we already paid for).

@Free_Press So what's the deal with his wife being Hindu then? Is she a beard? Does he consider his kids "white"?

@FritzAdalis @runZeroInc why are cyber sales folks so greasy?? the best is when they do the phone scammer trick of calling you from your own area code. great way to build a relationship based on trust. smh.

@w7voa soft power has already been eviscerated. As a Canadian if you are trying to gut our auto industry that has existing in partnership since the auto pact, do you think I will ever buy an American car again when I can get a decent Chinese EV (eg BYD) for waaay cheaper if we no longer have any […]

@Free_Press Do you think Canadians will buy US built autos if they gut our auto sector (ending many decades of partnership starting with the auto pact for which we actually buy more from the US, so it's beneficial for them as is) OR, with no skin in the game, Canadians will purchase cheaper […]

@chris its not separatism its american intervention and they are serious. Not coincidentally Venezuelan oil is similar to what Alberta sells and both are what american refiners are set up to process.

@chris Carney can read between the lines, that's all I'm going to say. I don't like the situation but it is what it is, really dumb but unavoidable unless we want much larger short term problems in other domains.

@chris Terrible company to be an employee of, terrible company to be a shareholder of, terrible company to be a customer of. Guess that makes it a terrible company.

Emailed their support, they'll get back to me.. in 24 "business" hours (eg. 3 working days). Stellar "fan" support. #openbsd should consider a different T-shirt fundraiser partner, maybe.

Doh. Shoulda got an X1 instead of a T14, looks like internal microphone doesn't work on #openbsd azalia. Not really a show stopper, though.
