Least important change: bots can now use powerups too, with a new "nodding" animation as a powerup usage indicator for both human player and bots.

Experimenting with controller support in Number Battle™. This version uses a virtual "aiming" cursor which can be moved via right stick. Controls for straight throws and curved throws are also implemented.

Finally revamped the character selection UI to be more convenient and mouse/keyboard/touch-friendly. And, as you can see, the main menu itself has been changed quite a bit, too.

Updated the SFXs. All sounds (except music) were created in jsfxr instead of using stock audios from Pixabay. To see what the fight sounded like before, check my previous devlog.

Updated Godot from 4.5.1 to 4.6 beta 2. My game started running smoother (even with shaders), and there's also a pivot offset ratio so I don't have to type "PivotOffset = Size/2;" every time anymore. Peakest update ever. #godot #godotengine

A very early showcase of the new gameplay in Number Battle™. It's halfway finished, animations are barely there, and the bots aren't very smart yet. This might be the most major change in the next update.

Another gameplay alteration is scheduled for Number Battle™ v0.5.0. With other improvements (like visual improvements, new game modes, etc.) on the roadmap, v0.5.0 will be a HUGE update.
