Aw Thanks Greg. Appreciate you sir… and your notes! Best word wrangler and horror aficionado in the Western Hemisphere! 🙏

Desk whiteboard is the best £17 I’ve ever spent. Trick is somehow preventing family wiping story notes for urgent shopping lists or ‘don’t forget the flea treatment’ reminders. (For the dogs, not me…(!))

I’m afraid it’s an ‘it depends’ answer. If it’s me, in drafts, it’s untracked, at least until final stages when I might fill my desk whiteboard with scrawls! Different mode entirely if we’re in a production mode, but then (with luck) an AD and or script sup will appear…

I really admire this point. I’d throw in the ring… The Straight Story (David Lynch) w/ Richard Farmsworth and Harry Dean Stanton. So simple and yet utterly compelling.

There had to be some hiding somewhere; perhaps there always were, too.

One tip would be to almost never use parentheses (or brackets if UK) under dialogue. Scripts tend to read by experienced readers, so trust them. The intention should be plain from the words you use. Use parentheses to counterpunch, to surprise or disambiguate… but sparingly. Good luck! 👍
