I was disappointed at first, but now I am ambivalent.

Things are much better now, but when I moved into my new build I had nightmares getting my mail. I had to put a description of my house in the address and stuff still went elsewhere, despite my house being a unique colour/shape in my road. Royal Mail eventually accepted the post code THEY issued.

Plenty of names in the Milhist corner of Bluesky don't follow back. I get followed by the usual bunch in the wider world looking for customers or whatever.

Instead of Race Across the World we should have Race to Your Constituency. Drop Nige and the many arseholes like him at a random location. Give them a very basic car, no smartphone or sat nav and get them to drive to their Seat. The winner gets a free tour of the Houses of Parliament. Top telly...

Thank you. Etched plating on the floor, but I'm sure the body panels are ply. No hard and fast way as they were all converted from dropsides or tippers. Some had chassis cut down from old army motors.

Broadway was there for years. It was a fixture of the street I grew up on. The whole place is gentrified these days. But change is change.

I know a chap on Hayling island who I think has some connection to the Landy.

Not all heroes wear capes. Time for tea and medals will come.

Blimey... That looks like an evil build

I went there with my school from Hackney for a fencing match in 1971/2. I think we won. It seemed like I'd been transported to another world.

That looks superb.

Nice! I've got my mum's badges, bus key and a few other bits.
February 8, 2026 at 5:47 PM
Yep. My late mum was at Tottenham on the 73 and 76 plus random others. She worked with the engineers later and I still have a useful brush supplied by LT.
