Is this subconscious racism in the Guardian just a couple of weeks ago? Pointing out how reliant the NHS is on foreign workers? Or is the problem actually the other things Polanski says and thinks, the only person in frontline politics who challenges what now passes for orthodoxy?

Hi this is a ring ferrule. The wire goes into the red end, which is crimped to form a permanent connection with it. The ring is then bolted or screwed onto a conducting surface when it's in situ. If there's a paper or plastic label around the ring it perhaps wouldn't form a proper connection.
