FYI I'm an ex-pat brit',
68 my knee had deteriorated to the point of getting in and out of a car was difficult. United Healthcare declined my operation until the Sunday night two days before.
Here is my bill. No insurance no surgery. How would people pay $88k who covers those that can't?

I still genuinely think they are somehow going to link biometrics into National Park access. It's a back door for ICE to know who is where. Remember a state drivers license doesn't prove you are a citizen or noncitizen. Not white?

Just to prove some parts of America are still a science based, socially coherent community. Paid $10 for hour of PT at 8am; way home stopped at the grocery store got my free to me COVID booster; picked up a bag of ice to ice my knee using a machine on loan from the rec center #colorado #3moreyears

I run it on Windows because it's what I know. I'm just building a new server for this Dell Optiplex 7070 Ultra. It cost $110 from ebay with a Windows 11 pro license, will replace a Windows 10 PC from 2014. Runs headless, no keyboard, mouse or screen, I login remotely via my laptop.

Big shout-out for the Lyrion music server. Been around under various names for 23 years, supports streaming services but brilliant with your own library - I've been digitizing vinyl, tapes, cd's reel to feel for 15 years. Synchronized players in every room, 54,490 tracks

I keep complaining about the lack of 3rd-places for children and teens to gather, we just did the debate about malls and how they were really killed by mall cops who essentially heard kids like sheep dogs until they killed the mall.

"Yeah AI will take your job" like hell it will
Try asking the front desk to schedule a double appointment twice a week for the next 6-weeks!
They don't even have basic rules based scheduling ain't no way AI can do this usably.

I'm surprised the Kingston wikipedia entry doesn't mention it and more suprised that wikipedia doesn't have a category for ex-company towns. # of people that lose their jobs, staggering
