That drastically understates the efficiency benefits, because once you put the electricity generated into an EV it can travel 3x as far as a combustion engine car on the same energy. So it's roughly 100x more efficient.

"People" are not gunning for her, the Tory press are gunning for her. It's irrelevant what she does, they will publish stories of how incompetent, untruthful etc she is.
