I like Marc and the Jacobs team. Watching them in the qualifiers it seemed they were the best to represent us for what will be a very competitive field.
But it was boorish behaviour. Curling isn't hockey. And for anyone representing us, we should be *better* than other loud assholes in the world.

I think every tech bro got too used to the nearly universal adoration from the phase where they were building generally useful stuff and making everyone around them some money.

The inverse relationship between Tesla sales (down!) and Tesla stock (up!) makes this perfectly clear at this point.
When I did my MBA we did have a unit on stock pricing and it's now out the window - pricing is "vibes" - either from the very rich or coordinated meme stocks who can move at scale.

Well, I won't be downhill skiing in that (I once got stuck on a lift for an hour at Tremblant in similar temperatures and that gives me pause now), but yeah, we'll just be going about our lives as usual.
