The bale eyes were are already a predator in the abyssal sea, and have become a devastating invasive species after introduction to the regular sea. It has a sensory organ that can detect high concentrations of arcanis which it uses to hunt down and attack prey 7/7

These kraken beasts devastate coastal cities and have effectively stopped the marine economy of the new world (fantasy Americas). So a multi nation coalition called the Kraken Defence Force was formed and has been in a protracted "war" with the krakens for almost 20 years 2/7

Yeah! A thing happening in the world is called the Great Kraken War, where it is supposed a massive isolated underground sea broke into the ocean containing a deluge of Kaiju sized terror beasts that are displacing a massive amount of aquatic peoples and devastating the natural ecosystem 1/7

I got a setting I'm working on which is set in the global fantasy 1920's-30's! I keep making educational posters of that world like one would see in a museum or school.
