Now it might be expensive for the AI companies to do this if it requires a separately trained model, rather than just a system prompt change, but that's a different consideration.

A solution is to create a separate version of their product(s) for the use by the federal government.  This is a very common thing for companies to do, as the government often has various requirements (e.g. about security, uptime, etc) that are different from ordinary consumer products. (2/3)

In the article: "... the answer that Ackman seems to have hit upon — is: They all run regular public companies", but maybe also you can't just come out and say that you want to start an investment fund to trade at a premium to net asset value. It somehow has to just happen organically.

It's interesting to note that, w.r.t. the possible A.I. paths mentioned in the post, the preconditions for the extreme bull case and the extreme bear case are pretty much the same. It might be a butterfly's wingflap that determines which of the extreme cases would occur in that situation.
