Here for the historical wargaming. I'm a solo wargamer, doing more periods than I can possibly do justice to, mostly in 6mm, but increasingly falling in love with 10mm too.

Favourite period (Napoleonics) + favourite rules (GdA2) + favourite scale (6mm) = hobby happiness

Since the world's going to buggery, if I want to do Goths vs. Sassanids, I'll jolly well do it, and to hell with the consequences

These new @baccus6mm.com Italian Wars figures are the best 6mm figures I've ever seen (and I have over 30,000 6mm figures so I'm in a position to compare). Can't wait for the Swiss to arrive this autumn.

Time to stress test Midgard, with a big 10mm battle. 15th Century Imagi-nations clash for possession of a network of river crossings. #Midgard #10mmwargaming #Pendraken

Ready to begin a relight of Oudenarde 1708 with Baccus6mm.com figures and Twilight of the Sun King rules. The combatants are quite sparse to start with, but things are going to get crowded pretty quickly.

TFW you realise Hannibal's entire army is behind your left flank and you're still in march order. Whoops. #6mmwargaming #Impetus #PunicWars

I don't have that one, but I picked this up when I was last in the States. It's pretty good.

Next up: The Battle of Shevardino from Dave Brown's Napoleonic Scenarios 1, but using his peerless General d'Armee 2 rules. 6mm, mostly Baccus with a few Grumbler.

I think this is the wargames picture I'm proudest of, a 10mm mediaeval village. The angle was my wife's idea, and this was my very first attempt. Buildings by Battlescale. Taken last year.

Here's a few random examples. It works really well for 6mm and 10mm, though setting up a battle requires a bit of patience. Even my 6'x3' table needs 180 hexes to cover the board.

Solo historical wargamer here (with a bit of imagi-nations and only a soupcon of fantasy). Here's my recent Borodino in 6mm.

Time to try out General d'Armee 2 for the first time. The allied assault on Dolitz and Probstheda at Leipzig. 6mm #wargaming

A relight of the Battle of Kolin, using Twilight of the Soldier Kings and plenty of Baccus 6mm figures

This was the closest up I took. My painting skills benefit from longer range photography 🙂

This is what I do. I play large scale solo #wargames on a small table thanks to the power of 6mm. This is from a recent French vs. Austrians Napoleonic battle using General d'Armee 1
