I don't think 39 posts in 2 or so years makes me a keyboard warrior and, sorry Mr Mindreader, I don't hate Starmer, or have any ideological beef with him. I just think he's not very good at the job and not up to dealing with Trump or Putin.

Starmer's grovelling is of a particularly extreme kind- state visits etc. His statement tonight is noticeably wetter than Macron's and the Swedish government. Also, the UK governments have been servile to the US as a matter of policy since the late '50s.

And still don't. Starmer's statement reeks of Special Relationship delusion.

This is all that Starmer's grovelling appeasement has achieved - nothing. Even now he's only talking about going 'directly to the US government' - like that's done anything so far.
