This year's highlight was the Archangel Gabriel, dressed in black & yellow striped tights & crocs, taking calls from God on an oversized inflatable mobile phone. He was assisted by two other angels who led the singing at a pitch that no other human has ever accomplished

Use the Eisenhower matrix to help you with deciding when/if to do stuff.

Not everyone can delegate, of course, but this is where sharing work, asking for more resources can be used as a replacement for delegate.

I agree.

For me, at first, Academia was very much an identity and a calling.

Years later, after some experience of terrible university management, it is "a job".
