Hugo Ekitike is special.

Slot has to go I’m afraid. 1-4 to PSV off the back of a 0-3 to Forest is bad enough but that is also in the context of 9 defeats in 12. That’s relegation form unless we turn it around and Slot is showing no signs of being able to.

Thankful for everything Arne gave us last season, but this cannot go on. We are woeful and the coaching staff have shown they’re unable to address the issues that we can have all seen over the last 2 months.

Big decisions to be made as Top 4 doesn’t even look likely under the current regime.

They've given up again today. They would've shaken hands on 0-2. Questions over whether they've stopped playing for the manager for whatever reason. Something badly wrong with the set up.

The credit in the bank is gone. 6 defeats in 7 league games is relegation form. We are pathetic.

Sloppy defending to give away a cheap corner. Concede straight from it. We are amateurish.
Another goal conceded from a set-piece 5 minutes into the next league game. Glaringly obvious, so you have to begin to wonder what they're working on all week. Cannot be anything more pressing than sorting out our woeful inability to defend set-pieces in any shape or form. #LFC
We seem to need a lot of chances to score. We concede very easy goals. That's not a recipe for success. They need to fix the glaring issues. Not sure what they're working on but continuously being susceptible to set-pieces tells me something is working.

I can accept losing. Losing away to City is more likely than not. I cannot acceptable the approach and lack of fight, though. They gave up at 2-0. Poor performance yet again. #LFC

Another performance where I'm not sure what we have worked on all week. This habit of going behind before we start playing has now worn thin. There needs to be an improvement after the international break or questions need to be asked of the management group moving forward.

We have been shafted by VAR, but this is the latest game where we have started slowly and looked like we aren't up for the battle. Questions need to be asked of this group.

And as for Milos Kerkez, it's giving shades of Alberto Moreno I'm afraid. Rash, positionally poor and no end product.

Curtis Jones was excellent tonight. Kept the ball well and always showed for it. #LFC

Two assists for Florian Wirtz. That'll certainly help. Much improved performance from him and those around him #LFC

Hugo Ekitike is currently the last attacking name on the team sheet (out of the 4 who you'd consider starters), but he needs to be the first moving forward. He's got it all. #LFC

4 defeats in a row is unacceptable, I'm afraid.
October 19, 2025 at 5:28 PM
The positives are it's only 0-1 & we have some decent options to change things from the bench. I'd be looking at Wirtz as a priority to get on the ball & Ekitike shouldn't be far behind him. Take your pick of who they replace. Chiesa & Rio in the final knockings if there's still no breakthrough #LFC

Horrible 45 minutes from the man in black and most of the men in red. Need a much improved second half. #LFC

This Justin Fields performance is one of the worst I've seen in a while. Absolute stinker.

1 point off top whilst the new players bed in. St James', Selhurst and Stamford Bridge ticked off. Arsenal, Everton and Bournemouth beaten at home. Not easy games, and not the end of the world today. #LFC

There is a conversation to be had about Ibrahima Konaté. Not been at it for a while now.
