There’s definitely truth to that. At the same time, I’ve seen plenty of veterans succeed because they understand structure, tempo, & pressure. I see it as an issue of translation more than hierarchy. Good leadership adapts to an environment & applies experience without expecting the same playbook.

It was a common theme at the Army AUSA Annual convention last week, "the cyber war is happening now."
