I'm so glad I made the reco to hire you back then. You've been so open to conversations, you've taught me so much (both technical & more important non-technical pieces). I'm so glad to happily have you in the Top Five! :)

Yeah... I'm basically done with Windows 10 & 11. Same with Office. There's way too much "stuff" in those apps. I'm all about Linux and LibreOffice for the last few years.

The Japanese taught me that reading books and buying books are two different hobbies. I like one of those hobbies more than the other :)

That’s… oddly specific. You don’t accept neck, knee caps, or even kidneys?

I found a picture of my RTO space with Nina and her verbally controlled Windows...

Watching Formula 1 taught me penultimate. It means "2nd last". I love it!

Doesn't the current budget proposal plan to increase the ICE budget by 15X?
Like, "a 9/11 per day" is just the warm up act, right?

100%! A weekend doing HDPE at a track with a group that prioritizes safety? You'll learn SO MUCH! I also realized that driving slow on a track is SO MUCH more fun than driving fast on a public road. Driving fast on a public road is stupid. :)
And, fast on a track? Best fun ever!!!

Yup! I was thinking about how much work it would take to make Win11 work for me and just decided to put that my work into Linux. I'm happy. (I do still use a VM for the few Windows apps I need)

OMG! I loved my Neuros! Do you have the optional flash backpack, too?
I may have to see where that is in my basement...

Best I can do is vim. After you’ve been here 6 months, we’ll upgrade you to a laptop with enough memory to run emacs.
