Really hoping that some of the people I used to correspond with on Xitter will "get with the program" and move to Bluesky. Talking about you Kaley Cuoco, Annie Potts and Stephen Carpenter (the Grimm one)

I always fascinates me when a character in a TV show set in New York City or LA says they're going to see someone "across town" and ten minutes later, they're there. Have these screenwriters never lived in those cities? NO WAY can one get "across town" in NYC or LA in ten minutes!

HOORAY! Ginger Lynn is doing an OnlyFans show tonight at 5 (Pacific time) and from what I understand, it'll be a walk down (porn) memory lane!

Been watching reruns of Grimm, and I gotta say, that show has THE BEST makeup, special effects and graphic artists of any TV show, EVER!!!!

You know what bugs me about TV/movie scenes where two people are driving somewhere and the driver looks over at the passenger for more than 15 seconds without watching the road. That's a recipe for an accident—and sadly, too many regular drivers emulate that behavior, and they're asking for trouble.

A U.S. Congresswoman disappeared for the last six months of her term. Nobody noticed.

Turns out she's in a memory care unit, & her staff (and apparently other people?) covered it up (though she was somehow propped up for an event a month ago?)

WILD story

I'm a big fan of actor John Cusack, but what I'd like to see A LOT more of are his sisters Ann and Joan, both fine actors in their own right—and damned good-looking.

A Texas legislator has called for a ban on the sale of "obscene devices" such as vibrators, in any non-adult store, such as CVS. Meaning you'd have to go to a stripclub or porn shop.

She calls it "part of a coordinated effort to normalize the sexualization of children"

New bill would ban sex toys from major retailers in Texas, including Walmart and Target
In a bill introduced by newly-elected Republican Rep. Hillary Hickland, she calls the devices "obscene" and wants a law limiting where they're sold.

Oops, I was wrong. The Sally Starr in The Woman Racket isn't the same person who hosted TV in Philly in the '50s and '60s: www.broadcastpioneers.com/sallystarr.h...

Here's a kicker for ya: When I was a kid living in Philly, I used to watch an afternoon kids show with cartoons and funny movies, all hosted by Sally Starr, who always used to wear a cowgirl outfit. Well, I just saw Sally in a 1930 movie, The Woman Racket, where she plays a singer in a speakeasy!

I very much like Leah Remini on People Puzzler, but often, people answer the crossword clue by beginning "What is..." and Leah has to correct them that "This isn't Jeopardy." So that got me thinking, wouldn't it be cool if Leah was a guest host on Jeopardy?

A quick way for DOGE to cut over $1.3 Trillion in spending:

Gun safety laws save $557 billion.

Universal healthcare with Medicare for All saves $650 billion.

Ending fossil fuel subsidies save $20 billion.

Cutting contractor profit from the military budget saves over $80 billion.

Start there.

I can't help but wonder if the guys who went to see Busby Berkeley musicals in the 1930s were really there to catch a glimpse of the female dancers' crotches... hoping against hope to see some pubic hair?

To the “high road” Democratic leaders who say Biden should pardon Trump, knock it off. What the hell kind of a message do you think that would send? We need to fight autocracy, not flirt with it.

COZI-TV has just started airing Grimm from the beginning, and I'm catching up. I used to follow its creator, Stephen Carpenter, on X, but I hope he decides to start posting here, since I'm never going on X again. (Guess why!)
