A dark maroon colour estate car with a sticker on the back window asking fellow drivers to leave 2 meters gap between cars and horses and please pass slowly, the same car is parked up on a footpath pavement leaving barely half a meter gap for pedestrians to pass the car. Car owner seems to value horses over pedestrians rights. Ironic.

Despite living the other side of Saltash, was woken at 530am by the pervasive noise of a Search & Rescue Sikorsky S-92A slowly flying around Forder & River Lynher. Gave up sleep, took dog for 3+ mile walk, back to hang out washing & pick a bounty of beans. All before 8am. Probably need a nap later 😆

There you go- technically rock buns but ‘cake’ was shorter to write! Thx for the free hour. Couldn’t squeeze more juice into my EV - would it have credited an hour even if I didn’t need any for the EV battery? Managed to cut the grass, boil kettle, clean coffee machine & charge some devices too 👍🏻

Verbena bonariensis adds slender height with a pop of purple that stands out especially in the evening light. I have them all over the garden front and back, so much so I had to start giving away seedlings I’ve got so many!

As mornings go, it’s been fairly productive in the garden 🪴. Peas and beans planted in pots, some tidying and top dressing of others, and sown more salad seeds. I do love this time of year when various shades of green and pops of colour come out to brighten late spring #Cornwall #BloomScrolling
