This film was one of the key factors in me beginning a relationship with a beautiful, artistic women in the 1980s. She couldn’t believe that a “jock-looking” guy like me loved & appreciated this film. And young people in love are seldom hungry!!! 😁

Sweet! I love it so much. I’ll upgrade my DVD copy eventually, but I picked up the A History of Violence Criterion this weekend at the B&N half off sale. EWS was calling to me from another shelf though!

It’s aging well. Thanks for sharing, Bill. Just revisited The Shrouds & Crimes of the Future this week. Of course I labeled those masterworks instantly. Maps had to breathe a little bit over time.
