Yes. And I think that’s what his diehard base enjoys. He feeds their own ugliness. It validates their own mediocrity. If someone as foul and lacking character or decency as he is can be president, maybe they could someday too. In the meantime, it’s all great fun for them.

JD doesn't have the cult following that Trump does. At this point Republicans in Congress are starting to get fed up with Trump. If JD thinks about getting out of line they'll yank his chain.
