Thanks for your input, but Wright's back unfortunately did not allow him to extend his career long enough. JAWS is my #1 criteria always, and attached is why it indeed makes sense. BTW, I managed Wright's blog during his peak years, great guy to be around. Just not enough ammo in his career.

- I dropped Manny last year as a Lost Cause, making sure that I use any bubble votes to help keep someone over the 10% threshhold for future analysis. King Felix was my bubble at 11 this time, hope he gets 10%+ so we can discuss more.

- My own biggest surprise in completing this ballot was choosing both Pedroia & Kinsler. The former has a slighter edge because of his postseason work, but JAWS is always my first go-to criteria (thanks @jayjaffe.bsky.social ) and they hold their own on the all-time 2B list.

- I always do an explainer column, but it's like Harry & David in my back room with packing & shipping. I'll follow up with one after the first of the year! I don't feel like you do justice to the honor of voting unless you check the maximum 10 boxes and give supporting analysis, wrong or right.
