Meanwhile, in Triumph TR4 restoration news, I'm continuing with the door refurb. Driver's side done so now on to the nearside and the news is less good. The bottom of the frame is rotten.
Overlaid the bottom of a doner frame and cut through both. Cut now complete and ready for welding. Breathe!

Meanwhile, in Triumph TR4 restoration news, I'm continuing with the door refurb. Driver's side done so now on to the nearside and the news is less good. The bottom of the frame is rotten.

Meanwhile, in Darkest Suffolk, I took the Bentley out to the joy that is the Friston Cars on the Green event today.
Bumped into some former Sizewell A people and we had a good old nuclear chaps discussion involving moderator coefficients and neutron flux detectors.
...& there were some nice cars

Under a perfect blue sky today, a nice first trip out for the Bentley this year. The White Lion at Ufford held its little advertised but somehow always popular car show. Lots of pre-war cars and a big band entertainment to add to the atmosphere:

Under a perfect blue sky today, a nice first trip out for the Bentley this year. The White Lion at Ufford held its little advertised but somehow always popular car show. Lots of pre-war cars and a big band entertainment to add to the atmosphere:

Just going through my late mother's effects and came across a box of 35mm slides.
Found one of me and my young cousin Paul sat on my Garelli [the Ferrari of mopeds!]. Taken in my parents garden in summer 1976 at my great-grandmother's 90th birthday party.

Seam sealant in the most icky-sticky stuff invented so, to avoid the whole affair degenerating into a pit of industrial strength swearing, masking is needed.
