Brexit was a similar situation. Headlines like "We can't live in the house we bought in the EU because new rules!" Voted Brexit, bought a house, now can only spend 1/4 or 1/2 year living in it!

Working so bloody hard for 100+ years to get even the most basic rights, not just in the US but in most countries, is a failure? There are so many years ahead still to get anywhere near the goals of "Feminism".

The lack of a full explanation of the case in the '46 version helps with thinking about what is happening. It is, in the end, the cover-up of a young drug addicted woman killing her father's paid for friend. While 5 or 6 other people get bumped off as a sideshow.

I have read about the 1945 film release. Is it substantially different or does it cast a different shade?

I watched the 1946 version of the film again this afternoon. It still stands up as a great film.

In contrast, in the UK, I had preventative heart bypass surgery for free. One of my male siblings had two heart transplants for free. Three other male siblings received treatment with stents following heart attacks for free. You can see why I had preventative surgery! Free healthcare is possible.

ICE and the US gov are complete B......ds, without any sense of decency. The most basic of legal rights have been stomped into the ground. I am in the UK but so concerned by all of this because of the many friends I have in the US and what they are living through.

Thankfully it was a remote camera. Many photographers have died in pursuit of understanding volcanoes and the stuff taht comes out of them.
