It would make a big difference if government departments withdrew from Twitter and moved to Bluesky, followed by at least the more progressive parties. Journalists would have to follow. Staying on Twitter isn’t engaging in debate, but merely adding a veneer of respectability to a far right platform.

Far right groups will presumably also be protesting about nativity plays in which a Jewish family two thousand years ago seeks asylum in Egypt.

There’s no excusing the Tories either. They took £millions in donations from super rich Russians close to Putin. My point is that Labour are in power now and need to take on the far right in all its forms.

If the government concentrated on Reform’s Russian connections instead of aping its immigration policies, think how different British politics might be.
