Bogarde is excellent. So comfortable on the ball. We made heavier going of it than we should have in the last 15 but great to get another win on the board. Nice to not want an international break seeing as we’ve got momentum. Up the Villa!

Word to the wise. If you visit ALDI, and you’re not allergic, get these. I buy loads of them. A woman saw me getting five bags in Leytonstone and said she was going to get some because of my obsession. They’re stupidly cheap, too - usually about 99p a bag.

Why does The Graham Norton Show bring all the guests on at the same time and then make them listen to one person talking for ages? It’s like being at a bus stop where everyone else is quiet and embarrassed while one person talks about themselves incessantly.

Smashing performance. Really open game, so suited our style of play. Bizot was marvellous, but good performances all over the pitch, including McGinn, Buendia, Konsa, and Pau.

I wish we’d use our kids more. We’ve sold all our depth, but won the FA Youth Cup and are yet to see many of the lads break through. Going out of the League Cup won’t help with that issue, either.

Yes, fair enough. I was trying to encapsulate the suggestion that anyone having the temerity to try anything at anytime gets stuffed by PSR, but your point stands. Hope you sort your form out (says the supporter of a club who’ve finally won a League match!).

Hmmm… If I didn’t know better, I’d be suspicious and suggest that PSR is having an impact on the clubs that had the audacity to try and gatecrash the established hierarchy.

Well, we’ve got to hope. Because right now, things are dire. I guess there should have been space today against 10 men. But we are so slow. Some of the players spend more time walking than running!

Outplayed and outfought by 10 men. Some really poor performances again. Simply not good enough.

Far too slow. And here’s an idea: try and put a cross in every so often. Not having an alternative to Watkins looks costly.

Watkins and Rogers might as well have stayed at home. Not sure if it’s their lack of urgency or a lack of quality behind them, but Cash throwing his arms up in frustration when Watkins didn’t make a run halfway through the half spoke volumes. Surely we must be better in the second half.

Bleach - they performed Dipping. I had this episode on video and watched it repeatedly. My favourite performance was The Fall filming a video for Bill Is Dead in the toilets.
