Richard Tice demanding funding cuts to universities for opinions expressed by individuals? Students who presumably felt free enough from government retribution to be able to speak their minds. Maybe Universities UK should be holding Tice to account rather than the students of their universities.

I disagree. AI can do these things now. BUT the teaching needs to bend to fit points that the AI can measure and change (e.g. digital signs of engagement such as virtual hands-in-the-air). This bending is the problem as we change how and what we teach. Online teaching already has had a head start.
