I don't know why but I was just sentimental about a plate. When I went to live in a dorm freshman year I had one white plate, one white bowl, one fork, one spoon, and one knife. The plate and bowl are the same Corelle shape as our normal dinnerware so we have kept them for almost 20 years.

Playing ESPN College Picked with coworkers where you try to guess the winner of ten cfb games each week. When I tell you they somehow pick the closest match ups each week I am not kidding. Multiple go into overtime or end on a last second field goal.

Attended a conference a few weeks ago. A lot of the vendors had swag. By far, the best item handed out was a bag of whole bean dark roast coffee from a co-op in Nicaragua. Notes of caramelized sugar, toast, and dark chocolate.

My son has been saving up money through chores and selling old toys in order to buy a Nintendo Switch 2. He finally reached his goal yesterday so it is time to create a core memory today.

Just found out about a national and international sports competition like the Olympics for my industry that includes disc golf some years. My goal this year was to compete in tournaments for the first time. Now I have a new goal.

Local disc golf store just posted about the incoming Innova Star Fox (5/6/-2/1). It will be interesting to see how trust the 6 glide holds in combination with the -2 turn.

Have had my current phone for 3+ years. It looks practically brand new. Was planning on finally upgrading in the next few days. Had even placed an order last night that never went though. Naturally I dropped my old phone last night and the screen is now cracked so they may not trade it in now 😑

Had an MRI on my shoulder this past week and will finally figure out the severity of any tear this upcoming week. No matter the result, I think it might be time to buy a new disc.
