....that needs fixing post brexit it is this one. It's an enormous registration system which simply does not work. HSE do not have the manpower to implement it, let alone police it. I don't agree that blanket mutual recognition is the answer, but status quo is much much worse.

...in addition the costs are extortionate. Our formulation is via a multi billion pound international companies registration. They have pulled huge chunks out of the application as "the costs of the application are too high". What chance does small business have? If there is any regulation at all...

...we're 8 years into an application. During those 8 years we've not been able to change anything formulation wise. We're also not allowed to submit new formulations and sell immediately if they weren't on the market at the time - it's locking new british companies out of our domestic markets.....

As someone involved in a small business trying to negotiate the BPR: The regulation currently in place is massively flawed. It was designed for the workload to be shared across all the "HSE's" of the EU. The current regulation is just unworkable in its current form. Its also anti-any business....
