If it is “our BBC” and (less emotionally) we also fund it, why does a **** like Boris Johnson get to make appointments like Gibbs? Sack him before he does further damage and demoralises staff still more.

Mad isn’t it? I have long struggled with the notion of the best players picked from four countries taking on just being somehow heroic. Do Australia, the All Blacks, Fiji, Samoa, Argentina ever get together to even up the chances ? Would seem fairer.
