In undergrad, I waited tables there back when it was the Cooker. When that closed and Carson’s took its place, it priced out a lot of people on that end of town.

I’m still stuck on his argument that the only power is to raise taxes. But, to do what? Collect money in perpetuity? It’s not only bad faith, it’s bad faith poorly reasoned.

I said this elsewhere, but when the entirety of your legal principles can be summed up with “if the president is a Republican, executive power is limitless; but if the president is a Democrat, the executive is powerless” it’s not law you are teaching, it’s political science.
