Wenn wir mehr Menschen zur Altenpflege verpflichten wollen, und damit die Geburtenrate automatisch noch weiter senken - denn der Berufseinstieg verzögert sich um ein Jahr - dann können wir das tun. Oder wir mustern alle 18jährigen Männer, die in Deutschland leben, mit oder ohne deutschen Pass.

RCV would work well. I don’t get the fascination with multi member districts. Anyone who has studied Japan knows that they bring out the worst kind of local patronage politics.

If you look at the trend, it doesn’t look like statins were even a major factor. And how would they if they only reduce the absolute risk by a few percent? My money would be on people giving up smoking making the biggest difference

Group 1 consists of some who believe that it’s fine if everyone is very progressive because they’re fighting a battle, and others who think that academics are just a bit to the left of most voters and that it isn’t a problem. The latter have no idea what voters really think.
