Might have been that the contact was after the puck passed by Wolf, at least that's what I saw. If so he would have had a chance to play the save before being run in to.

Hmm, The Acolyte wasn't perfection, even if it was good and turned quite intriguing. So you must be referring to the Willow show, which would have been hard to beat in a second season. Still should have happened though :(
