Know yourself. Love yourself. Be yourself without a hint of apology. That's what we all have to learn how to do. It's hard for anyone, but trans people have to do it while the world is shouting down their right to even exist. That's next level courage. I'll stand with and defend that every day!
Trans people are my neighbors and my friends and my loved ones. But I do not need personal attachment to know that human beings should enjoy the full benefits of their human rights as well as full participation in our community and country.
My guess is that a lot of trans people will be feeling a ton of stress and worry over SCOTUS today.
If you are a cis person, quote this and say why you support trans people and what you are willing to do to support us if the government comes for us.

I've been thinking about how the Roman Empire fell around A.D. 476. It left behind many concrete structures that survive to this day. In the collapse of said empire, the method for making concrete got lost. Nearly 1,500 years would pass before we figured it out again.
