the built-in debugger shows how i've got the states to work

each state can be directly tied to an animation too, so if we enter a state, play an animation to convey what state we're in, v handy

imo godot state charts are the best thing to happen to state machines since switch/case

made some progress on my one-button #godot game JUMPHIKE

been thinking about remaking JUMPHIKE for a while and using old assets is a great excuse to learn this engine

ok godot is pretty fun

learned how to make zines and now I can’t stop
