The way I resent having to take care of myself.....le sigh.

I used to LOVE when my dad let me put the money in and pull the button to buy them...core memory 🤦🏽‍♀️🤣

I remember making ashtrays for my dad in art class for Father's Day. . .the 70s and 80s were WILD.

I had to register ours in October...when the bill from the summer two months before was barely paid off 😫

It was seriously strange....as we stood in that endless line, I tried explaining we used to make a wish list for toys out of a department store catalogue and apparently that was enough to merit an eye roll and some joke about me growing up on Little House on the Prairie...gotta love these kids.

The most shocking part was.....the number of non kids standing in line to have their Jellycat Macarons "made".....🤣. Enjoy London!

For anyone who gets a period, anything you can do to educate yourself about perimenopause/menopause is essential if & when shit starts going sideways in the 40s..learning to advocate for oneself is imperative once the perimenopause hits..bc many will try to convince you it's in your head. It's not.

We were lucky enough to take our 13 yr old to Paris & London this year and her only requests for sightseeing were the Jellycat Cafes in each city (an eyeopening experience 🤯). Meanwhile I was waxing philosophical about Madeleine and the Eiffel Tower....oh how the tables have turned 🤣.
