which is completely fair, i expected that from the beginning. i had friends who joined early but didn’t find any value over here. even with how hard it might be, i feel like one big company that has a large fanbase joining bluesky could do wonders for the environment on here

yea totally, this is a completely new app and people just didn’t feel like starting over. i had periods where i didn’t use this app bc it wasn’t doing much for me. but i’m not leaving bc i see its potential.

i said this in another thread, i just was wondering if there were any ways bluesky could possibly evolve & get more users onto the platform/get defunct users back. not necessarily looking for another honeymoon period, that’s long gone

i think just the newness of everything had everybody wanting to interact. i didn’t necessarily mean for it to be the same type of popping, just wondering what would have to change for there to be a boom in the amount of users or what could possibly get people to come back

a lot of the things that i follow (i.e. sports) either don’t have their official accounts on here/aren’t active on here.

and i feel like those accounts would draw more conversation around specific things. if i exclusively had bluesky, there would’ve been so many sports moments i wouldn’t have seen
