I know the ethics of it should have been the thing to turn me off of streaming, but I reached my breaking point when they started doing ads every 5 minutes and making people pay more for paywalled shows and movies. Like that's fucking ridiculous lmfao 💀

How far are you willing to go for the ones you love?

Luce Sullivan makes his yearly trip up to the isolated cabin he and his brother Michael bought decades before. He’s alone, and drowning in grief, and prepares to spend the time drunk to avoid thinking about the accident five years ago that took his brother from him and drove Michael’s child away after they survived a lightning strike. Jasper hasn’t made an effort to contact him once in all the years since they left, and Luce is afraid he lost both of them to that storm.

To his surprise, Jasper shows up in the middle of the night out of the blue. At first, Luce is elated. Is this finally the reconciliation he’s been yearning for all these years? But things turn more sinister as Luce realizes that Jasper isn’t quite right.

He grapples fear, isolation, and strange new feelings for Jasper, as a storm looms closer and closer, threatening a grand finale that neither of them are quite prepared for.

Work always SUCKS for having any energy left after, so I didn't get any more writing done tonight, but I *did* do some editing and backend stuff that I would have done tomorrow, so 🫡 i'm still counting it
