Seems ironic that today many of us have the day off “work”, yet there is so much real work to be done. Today, on this day “off”, I’m committing to work to make my world more inclusive, to sustain it for the generations to come, and create and appreciate beauty and kindness everyday.

The “crab eyes” reminds me how both fortuitous and precarious life can be. Formed >300 million years ago as core stones (unaltered rock left as chemical weathering progressed inwards as soil formed), recent erosion & gravity stacked these boulders through long-game geologic jenga.

Inspiration from Martha Graham those days when the feedback is less than productive…
