I just don’t get why we’re spending so much time playing like we did trying to defend the lead with 10 men at city last season.

Ode is his own thing. He’s great etc etc but he forces us into playing his way when imo we’re both more dangerous and more entertaining with eze as a genuine 10.
He‘s really redundant with Zubi too. Like they can’t both stand in the exact same places in build up

But yeah between his own deficiencies and being mauled by every defender in the country but never getting a foul it’s really starting to feel like we can’t rely on gyok

No player has ever had their stock rise so much just by being injured as Kai havertz has this year

Plus the way we panic and stop trying to play at the end of games when the manager has decided to hang on for the result is becoming a real problem

When several of your guys are exhausted to the point of being borderline useless - not tracking runners, cant stay on front of the ball carrier - it’s probably ok to question whether some more energy would have helped. Even if it is from players who are supposedly inferior

Yeah I have no idea what busted saka and trossard particularly were supposedly contributing in the last 10 mins that‘s so irreplaceable

Also arsenal’s draw scores way easier because of kairat, but at a certain point bad teams are an automatic 3 points regardless of their actual coefficient.

I feel like strength of schedule is the usual way to talk about these things, rather than probability of progression. Are you trying to have a different conversation to everyone else?
