I really need PS Plus to add Ark Ascended a few days early I would like my comfort dinosaur game back right about now.
Like the man can come up with fun ideas but apparently cannot for the life of him flesh them out nicely. This season has been a mess of so many drastic character arcs given absolutely no time to breath because Minear is way too focused on giant multi episode spectacles rather than good storytelling.
I’ve been wary on Minear ever since we found out the Bi storyline was originally for Eddie but got switched to Buck. You don’t just come up with such a drastic arc and then pin it on the next available character. And that’s exactly what happened here. He wanted a shock death and just chose Bobby.

Like no time at all focused on the rest of the team’s grieving besides Chim and Athena. It’s literally canon in the show that Bobby viewed Buck like another son and he got no attention. Eddie is there for like a minute total. Hen got crumbs. Tim Minear you are a HACK!

What a shitty way to kill off not only a main, but a beloved character whose actor (and an exec producer mind you!) didn’t even WANT to leave. And this episode fucking sucked besides Angela’s acting. The only thing I’m actually okay with is Bobby being buried with his kids.

Like I have always HATED that ‘customer is always right’ phrase. Even as a kid I knew that was total BS. And people will use that mindset to just deliberately be a POS to workers and treat us like they can come in and dictate everything to us with no consequence.
Love the unapologetic audacity of people who, when I am at work and I kindly tell them “excuse me you can’t open up boxes if you haven’t purchased the item”, will just look me dead in the eye and say “no it’s fine.”
