im supposed to be getting a larger than usual maintenance surgery on the area on Monday, so im really hoping itll be more ok before then

when doing the testing the other day, there was a slip up that lead to one of my wounds being improperly dressed for a few hours

did another dressing change today

bleh not doing well fucking meds turns out are important

just till tomorrow night and I should be stablised again properly

randomly started crying for 30s and then stopped

yesterday we were so scared we almost cancelled the whole thing

but after talking it through, we really just need to get this over with. this is the best opportunity we are going to get to do this, its only going to get harder with further decline

just gotta make it through the last few days.

but at least hoping it will be easier than the previous 200km road ambulance trip we had earlier this year that made us pretty sick with how we were thrown around given the totally unregulated autonomic system

it's for some really intense testing at a proper hospital in the middle of melb.

it's going to probably be extremely rough, especially completely withdrawn from almost all of my medications (only leaving hormone supplements/stablisers since they are unrelated to the tests)

Cosette is such a worried little kitten. She is still terrified of toys, even when I leave them around so she can see they're not scary.

Nope. Hissing, spitting, biting.

She is NOT terrified of being snuggled or kissed though, so that's nice.

it's a bit rough still, having to take things a lot slower than before it

more intensive symptoms from less

have been letting my carer do a bit more which has helped

this chair should make a big difference to keep me able to see the outside at least as much as i could at the beginning of the year

honestly i was a little shocked how my hair and skin both look a lot lighter than the usual state of illness and dreeriness for me and our body

it probably helped our carer came by to wash our hair yesterday with a shampoo cap and gave it a good brush, plus the two weeks of bedrest ahead of today

got to go outside for a bit today

was trying some power wheelchairs with my OT and the one we chose should allow us to go outside much more often and for a bit of scenery change without exhausting myself

very excited for the programs paperwork and whatnot to be completed so we can get it soonish

might need to ask for crowdfunding help again

the OT from the hospital has been trying to arrange a hospital bed to be put in my room to make it easier for my carers to help me

but the only one that fits has a $500 gap I would need to try and cover myself

have been thinking about the mess of my sexuality a lot especially now im in an ace relationship and happy

i think all the things i used to enjoy and crave around sex are exactly that, around sex, tangential

not really necessary to do the less enjoyable bit just for the other bits
