Probably will pop on some manner of review once the data cable arrives, bit weird having to buy those separate.

So that'll be that, i guess :P

The thinking was to see what the rage was/is

They reckon they're good for exercise, again, skeptical, but the selling point by far was playing Alien Isolation and the sort. Looks crazy with those.

Took a while to save tho, blimey. That shit is getting harder every time.

Hehe, well, i think i'm going to have some fun tonight.

*Finally* managed to pick up one of those VR Headsets and settled upon the Meta Quest 3s, Now way i was paying like £800 for em', just yuk. Turns out they can do some very interesting things.

And i get to look like Robocop 😅

100% - the rightward slant is coming from the donors, its not looking great for them. Kendall, Streeting and Reeves have became captured. It'll take a sweep of parliament at the next GE to sort this one out. I'm likely going for either libdems or greens unless something drastic happens.

I'm starting to like what Zack is doing out there, he's making use of webspace quite well and attempting to bring others along with him, probably what we need just now. Folks need to know somebody is fighting in their corner, regretfully Labour just isn't getting it's comms right atm.

Jeez, it's getting to the point where nothing is sacred. We keep hearing about this stuff with increasing frequency too. It's simmering down to the kids as well, they're launching fireworks at random people now. Somebody will get hurt if it doesn't get curbed or worse.

Seriously though, we've got to somehow nurture this with new voters, it might seem like a bygone conclusion with Reform in the equation. But if we can get across what was taken away via Brexit, we might have a chance at stopping this rot-train.

He's one of the few voices on the other side that make any sense these days, hell ye, terrible idea to Brexit 🙋‍♂️

Lord Heseltine, "The number of people aged below 50 who think it was right for us to leave the European Union, is less than 20%

"The latest polls tells us 56% now believe it was mistake to leave the European Union"

Hands up if you are one of the 56% 🙋‍♂️

I'm certain that it will, once it all hits a particular rock bottom, the only way is up luckily, just gotta get people back to their senses and act as one, even if it takes a general strike or something major, might be the only way.
martandelus.bsky.social
Yeah, they're taking advantage of it and rewriting history in that odd way that they do, i just hope that the spell wears off in time.

Truly terrifying, i mean damn, at the time when our foes are gearing up, the RW are determined to foment divisions, its dangerous as all hell. We proper need unity in these times, but there's so much power brokering going on that it's blinding them.
martandelus.bsky.social
Definitely, it's massive in scale what was defended those many moons ago, it's scary to think what may have happened if the allies didn't push back against the forces of hate and division.
martandelus.bsky.social
I'm more of the impression that true patriotism isn't about protection of your borders, but about protection of your neighbours, friends and colleagues. Standing shoulder to shoulder with them and defying the odds is how its done, ain't no loud, obnoxious oiks telling me otherwise.
martandelus.bsky.social
I'm still surprised that even as many as 2/10 harbour such ill will. It totally goes against what our grandparents taught us about where hate leads.

Palpably absurd that they even utter the word "patriot", they don't even understand that they're undermining it. Hate is UnBritish, it is Unpatriotic

This is what i don't get, people of my own age group 40+ were raised to reject racism, even though it was still a bit, it was never anything like what the Tories/Reform are supposing it used to be like. Most just get on together.

They sell a total lie. Britain is a welcoming place generally.
dalevince.com
This lot are trying to normalise racism.

But that’s not the Britain I know... and our Giga Poll of 45k shows that. Diversity is its strength, not something to fear or smear. Some people, desperate for power, will say anything.
martandelus.bsky.social
Eh, i mean which characters have nuked them the most.

As for the title of worst leader, probably Johnson, he was a catastrophe for the UK. Couldn't be understated how much of a bad decision it was to have a guy like him at the helm when we needed common sense.

He started a chain reaction of rot.
martandelus.bsky.social
Going on back to J'OB's questions tho, who would i say did the most damage? That's a final question for who wants to be a millionaire, they haven't exactly had any good leaders in recent memory, oof.

Toss up between Osbourne and Truss? Or is it Cameron/Johnson?

They've all messed up royally 🤦‍♂️
martandelus.bsky.social
Hah, if Jenrick muscles out Badenoch, i think he'll probably tank the Tories even more, being a bully towards disadvantaged kids is a proper lead balloon.

Wonder if they'll wind up with less than 10% by the end of parliament, it would be amusing, but still worrying because of what replaces them.
martandelus.bsky.social
A then/now in the polls makes it look worse, Ignoring Reform's media powered rise hitting them. They tanked.

Meanwhile, Labour has managed to recover a little bit and the Greens have started to increase their share, same with LibDems since Dec 2024.
martandelus.bsky.social
And even then, a substantial gradient of views is going to be political commentators just prepping their next critiques, i doubt Badenoch will last until Xmas, she's totally flopped it.

Guess it's not as popular as she thinks to be acting like she is.
martandelus.bsky.social
I think the answer to @mrjamesob.bsky.social 's question this morning, is the conservative party dead, is a thunderclapping, "hell yes"

www.youtube.com/watch?v=bCPJ...

Even on their YT, the view count is really shallow despite that the conference went live 2 hours ago. Tells you everything.

Good advice, feels like it's wise to be humble and not go hell for mettle. Baffles me how some can go crazy with new routines and not get shorted out. Gotta just maintain a steady mindset :)
