But all that aside, the 1619 Project resulted in a book that included work by prominent, prize-winning scholars like Tiya Miles, Matt Desmond, Khalil Gibran Muhammed, Martha Jones, Carol Anderson, Anthea Butler, etc etc as well as some historically-minded Pulitzer Prize winning reporters.

And for a (fantastic) read on the "lessons of history" and the constitutional threat of Trump's executive order on birthright citizenship, see this amicus brief from @marthasjones.bsky.social and @katemasur.bsky.social:

BREAKING -- 1st Cir. says Trump's attempt to end birthright citizenship REMAINS BLOCKED.

Opinion includes a helpful TL;DR:

Don't mistake the length of our answer for the existence of a real question. Birthright citizenship is broad-based and it's sacred. @brennancenter.org

Keep an eye out for these fliers going up around Seton Hill in the near future, and maybe even come join us on the tour! fullstorybaltimore.tours/our-tours/#s...
Walking tour flier with a dark red background and photos of Seton Hill in Baltimore, with the text:
Come on a walking tour of your neighborhood!
Victorian-era Seton Hill
On this walking tour through the beautiful old streets of Seton Hill, once known as Baltimore’s French Quarter, we’ll explore the surviving traces and look for the ghosts of the Victorian city. Come step off the beaten path with Full Story Baltimore and hear stories about the neighborhood, including Baltimore’s Black Catholic history, student “pranks and misdemeanors,” the real history of Baltimore’s asylums, and the human history of the USA’s oldest Gothic Revival masterpiece.
Accessibility: We’ll be walking over some uneven grassy terrain and paving stones in addition to city sidewalks, and the tour will cover approx. 1.3 miles. 1.5 hours long.
Saturday, October 11, 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
