Not every invite is an opportunity. Some are performances of elitism, meant to preserve status, not build solidarity. As I grow in my professional journey, I'm learning discernment is power. I don't have to show up everywhere to be relevant or feel seen. Authentic alignment matters to me.

You can’t truly serve vulnerable communities if you carry discriminatory beliefs and attitudes, no matter how good your intentions. Energy never lies. Do the work to unlearn or risk causing more harm. I seek spaces and rooted in humility, not elitism. Communities deserve better. 💛

“Comfort is killing us" is a very privileged perspective that dismisses the reality of those living in poverty. For those who have known nothing but struggle, comfort is their healing ground, it's a revolutionary act. To deny people comfort is to perpetuate injustice.

I yearn for a future where our lives won't be performative. Our society is conditioning us to be performative, to prove our worth. I recently deleted my LinkedIn because deeply I grew weary of curating a ‘perfect' profile that makes me ‘visible.' It felt too performative for me. But hey, capitalism😞
