This research replicates our prior findings on the efficacy of OFC TMS as a viable option for patients who do not respond to DLPFC TMS. The results have now been validated in a third extensive clinical sample conducted at Salience TMS.
Time to integrate OFC TMS into the updated guidelines!

TMS also stimulates the trigeminal nerve which can result in clinical benefit independent of its direct cortical stimulation. TENS sham procedures help control for these effects, however such studies should be adequately powered since some level of response to just TENS sham are expected.
