Ah well, kinda embarrassed how much I spent on the lamp. But no regrets. Do a reverse image search and you’ll hopefully find it for less in the US.

I ordered it direct from the manufacturer in China and imported it. Couldn’t find it in a regular store on this side of the pond

For British folks trying to get Live Translation set up in iOS 26, at the moment it seems like you have to download US English as well as UK English and your other selected foreign languages. Going to be using it in anger for the first time next week.

It wasn’t until recently, probably is now. Because it’s hard to have nice things on the internet it’s actually quite involved to add certain new extensions. But a group of passionate engineers did the heavy lifting to bring in a bunch of the top asks.

I suspect it's due to some sites using it to crank up the compression settings and treating it like a 2000's jpeg rather than using it in lossless mode or as a transparent high quality jpeg mode.
