I don't trust people who aren't critical of something they like. The ability to recognize problems shows a greater understanding of the work.

"if you dont like this show, youre basically MAGA" queer people are losing their rights daily, hate crimes are rising, nazi idealogy is becoming more normalized and women have flat out lost their reproductive rights but i'm glad cartoon opinions are your highest priority.

people will make "fix it" fics, and videos rewriting how they'd make a story to improve on its failures, but for some reason redesigns are treated as like this irredeemable sin that all fandoms should be banned from doing.

I don't mind when shows/films/games/etc redesign a female character to make her chest smaller, i just hate it when it's ONLY done to "desexualize" them. As if large chests are inherently sexual.
