Pearly Underwing, a lifer a probable county record for Laois, on 24th Sept. This migrant moth is described by Norfolk Moths website as having a characteristic longitudinal silvery grey crest on the thorax’ like a ‘silver Mohican hair cut’! #teammoth

Herald moth - it came to the kitchen window on Friday night, so I rushed outside with a pot! This species hibernates as an adult to over-winter, in caves, outhouses etc. #teammoth
