Beautiful two nights in Shenandoah National Park with Kaya. Despite having her own sleeping bag, 0400 on the second night she barked and woke me up so she could get in with me… it’s not yet spring; no green to speak of, but beautiful nonetheless.

Warm weather’s coming! Kaya is ready. 2 nights in the Shenandoahs next week in the 40s. See that blue & grey blob, that’s a dog sleeping bag! Tested on a 5-night trip last summer; she stopped trying to steal mine every time I left it unattended (in the middle of the night lol).
